Quantum Disinfection is a new generation of nano-composite material with activated surfaces that kill pathogens like bacteria (E. coli, Staphylococcus, Legionella, etc.), viruses (MS2), and protozoa (Cryptosporidium) from water, with no power, no chemicals, and no maintenance.
How Does Quantum Disinfection Work?
Away from the classical disinfection methods (chlorine, alcohol, bromide, ozone or UV), Quantum disinfection uses a discharged surface (positive quantum field) that attracts electrons. Water or air, simply has to pass over the Quantum Disinfection ceramics and the microorganisms (negitivly charged) are instantly killed.
Applications & Laboratory Testing Recommendations
The Quantum disinfection ceramics can be successfully applied in other markets than the ones presented in the above table, like for example, all applications were UV light is applied (water flows under 12 GPM).
In addition, the QD ceramics can be potentially or theoretically adapted to all waters or liquids were disinfection or sanitation is required (all flows).

The majority of technologies used for water disinfection are divided in between the following methods: Chlorination, UV lights, and Ozonation. Some other chemicals, like peroxide, bromide, and silver are also rarely used, mainly for bathing water disinfection.
